Throwback
I have been listening to a lot of classic soul, funk and dub lately but this blog is all about the newest music. Luckily I have also been listening to some awesome 2008/09 tunes that fit these genres.
For the soul we have Mayer Hawthorn (click below and make sure you listen to "Green Eyed Love" which kicks in at the 13 minute mark)
For the funk, imagine if James Brown was a modern day Japanese man ... it'd probably sound and possibly look something like this
For the dub we have NZ's finest Fat Freddy's Drop with their latest single "Pull The Catch". Quality music. Tasty crayfish.

Two Cities
I thought I'd throw up some music from my two cities Toronto and Canberra.
Right now I am living in Toronto. This is one from Modulok's forthcoming album. Be sure to check out his current album Two Cities.
